If you have a 1.5L/1.6L 1990-1991 Honda Civic and you purchase an Exedy Stage 1 or 2 Clutch Kit you must upgrade to an HF501 flywheel.
If you have a 2.0L 2002-2008 Honda Civic SI and you purchase an Exedy Stage 1 or 2 Clutch Kit you must upgrade to an HF02T flywheel.

EXEDY organic racing clutches only use premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for street and light horsepower track use. Drive ability is similar to the stock clutch. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. All of our clutch discs have spring center dampers to reduce drive train shock. Stage 1 Clutches have a 10-30% higher pedal effort than OEM due to the higher clamp load.

1988-1989 Honda Civic Stage 1 Kit is good for up to 117 ft/lb of wheel torque.
1990-2005 Honda Civic Stage 1 Kit is good for up to 179 ft/lb of wheel torque.
1999-2000 Honda Civic SI Stage 1 Kit is good for up to 201 ft/lb of wheel torque.
2002-2008 Honda Civic SI Stage 1 Kit is good for up to 205 ft/lb of wheel torque.
